What Rhythm collects

The pilot stores your ChatGPT sign-in identifier and email, first name, broad Seattle-area neighborhood, availability, three private interview answers, the profile you approve, daily answers you choose to give, circle membership, continuation choices, blocks, reports, and basic product events.

How it is used

Rhythm uses this information to run the pilot, interpret your stated preferences, calculate pair-level compatibility, form circles, protect participants, and learn whether the product is useful. It is not sold or used for advertising.

What other members see

Circle members see your first name, broad neighborhood, approved public blurb, shared tags, common-ground notes, and a pair-specific Convergence number. They do not see raw interview answers, daily answers, private profile summary, or private choices about them. Your sign-in email is revealed only when you and another person both choose yes and both separately enable mutual email sharing.

AI processing

When the AI interviewer is enabled, your current answers and broad setup context are sent to OpenAI to produce the next question or a draft profile. Rhythm requests that these API responses not be stored by the model provider. Human access is limited to authorized pilot operations, including safety review and troubleshooting.

Your control

You review the profile before matching. From Profile you can export your data or permanently delete your account. Reports may be retained where reasonably necessary for safety or legal obligations.
